Rollover delays traffic near Reedsville

Stanton: Motorist was driving too fast, lost control of vehicle

REEDSVILLE — Charges will be filed after a second vehicle rollover in Mifflin County

in two days.

Cpl. Arthur Stanton, of Mifflin County Regional Police Department, said Gladys M. Gonzalez, 20, of Lewistown, will be charged following a motor vehicle crash that occurred around 11:35 a.m. Tuesday along U.S. Highway 322 westbound, between the Reedsville and Milroy exits.

At the scene, Stanton identified Gonzalez as the driver of a black Scion tC that left the roadway, traveled over the bank along the side of the road and rolled over before coming to a rest. Stanton said Gonzalez was driving too fast and lost control of the vehicle.

Gonzalez sustained unknown injuries in the crash and was transported from the scene by the Milroy Hose Co. ambulance.

Some motorists may have experienced brief travel delays in the area as traffic was temporarily restricted to one lane.

Big Valley ambulance, FAME EMS, Reedsville Fire and Rescue, Milroy Hose Co. and local fire police also assisted on the scene.
