¯Resisting arrest — 11:20 p.m. — Nov. 15 — Police responded to the area of City Hook & Ladder for a report of a suspicious person who was crawling through a yard with a cigarette lighter. Officers arrived and began questioning the individual the who provided false identification to the officer. The man later identified as Michael M. Collins, 26, of Lewistown, fled from officers as he was being arrested for public drunkeness. Collins was subsequently arrested on South Walnut Street and charged with resisting arrest, possessing prescription medication not prescribed to him, false identification to law enforcement and public drunkenness.
¯Criminal mischief –2:30 a.m.-3:00 a.m. — Nov. 17 — Police report responding to a call at Quiet Acres in Decatur Township. The victim Randall Gutshall, of Lewistown, reported a gate post was damaged. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact PSP Lewistown at 320-1010.
¯Simple assault–9:00 a.m.–Nov. 17–Police report responding to Vista Acres in Decatur Township, for a report of an altercation. During the investigation troopers found that Jeffery Beck, 55, of Lewistown, assaulted Daniel Aitkins, 66, of Lewistown.
¯Theft by deception –11:00 a.m. — Nov. 18–Police report Larry Snyder, 75, of Mount Union, was scammed into sending $9,700 cash to a fictitious bail bondsman in New York. Snyder was made to believe by the actor(s) that a relative was incarcerated in Philadelphia and needed money to post bail.
¯Harassment — 8:12 p.m. — Nov. 18 — Police report investigating an incident of harassment at a residence on Summit Street in Mifflin Borough. It was reported that the accused, a 28-year-old male, of Mifflin, became involved in a physical altercation with a 27-year-old female, of Mifflin. Police said the accused was cited.
¯Theft — Oct. 15-Nov. 8 — Police report investigating the theft of pills on Route 235 in Delaware Township. Police said the victim, Jennifer Henry, 27, of Thompsontown, reported prescription medication was taken from her home. ¯Discharged firearm in residence — 6 p.m. –Nov. 10 — Police report investigating an incident on Ferguson Valley Road in Wayne Township. Police said the accused, John Donaldson, 51, of McVeytown, discharged a handgun in a residence when the residence was occupied. Donaldson was taken into custody and transported to Mifflin County Correctional Facility on charges of discharging a firearm into a residence and recklessly endangering another person.
¯Retail theft — Nov. 5-Nov. 12 — Police report being contacted by Giant Food loss prevention after discovering several incidents of retail theft from the store by the same person. According to police Sean Ian Rosenberg, of Lewistown, entered the store six times and removed several items from the store without paying for them. Rosenberg then returned to the store and used various names to obtain cash refunds. Rosenberg was charged with 6 felony counts of retail theft, 5 counts of theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

¯Possession with intent to distribute — midnight — Nov. 10 — Police report responding to the 500 block of Valley Street in reference to a possible overdose of crack cocaine. Officers investigation led to obtaining a search warrant for the residence where approximately 9.5 grams of marijuana were found along with drug paraphernalia. Warrants were secured and Ronald Shimp Jr., 42, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
¯Possession — 6:57 p.m.– Nov. 14 — Police report responding to the 400 block of West Fourth Street based on a tip that an individual may be in possession of marijuana. Officers investigation found Steven Wayne Fultz, 56, to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

¯Propulsion of missile onto roadway — 12:35 p.m. — Nov. 13 — According to police a 71-year-old male reported an item was thrown off of the Kistler Bridge in Shirley Township, Huntingdon County, and struck his vehicle. Anyone with information is encouraged to call PSP Huntingdon at (814) 627-3161.
¯Crash — 5:54 p.m. — Nov. 14 — Police report an accident on Standing Stone Road in Miller Township in Huntingdon County. The crash occurred as Melissa Mobley, 44, of State College, was traveling north on Standing Stone Road and slowed for a deer crossing the roadway. Mobley’s vehicle was then struck from behind by Joye Gingrich, 45, of McAlisterville. Gingrich was cited for following too closely. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
¯Animal cruelty — 8:25 a.m. — Nov. 17 — Police report investigating an incident on Spring Avenue in Shirley Township, Huntingdon County in which a 37-year-old male, of Mount Union, reported a 10-year-old male suspect, also of Mount Union, struck his dog with a wooden table leg.
¯Scattering Rubbish — 4 p.m. — Nov. 18 — Police report investigating an incident on state Route 829 and state Route 655 in Clay Township. Police said the accused, a 42-year-old female, was observed throwing trash out of a moving vehicle. The accused admitted to the crime and will be charged in Judge Jamison’s office for scattering rubbish.

¯Act 64/drug possession — 1:45 p.m. — Nov. 17 — Police report investigating an incident of drug possession at 54 Benvenue Road in Reed Township. Police said Cole Garrett Smith, 24, of Lewistown, and a 17-year-old male, of Lewistown, were spotted using controlled substances in the Pilot gas station pump area. The subjects were found to be in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia and were arrested on scene. Charges will be filed.

¯Crash — 9:23 a.m. –Nov. 17 — Police report investigating a two-vehicle crash on Fair Oak Road, approximately 300 feet north of Brylan Lane, in Middlecreek Township. The crash occurred as the driver, Philip Stahl, 53, of Middleburg, crossed the roadway in his 2005 Ford E250 when Michael Walter, 21, of Middleburg, struck the left side of Stahl’s vehicle with the front, right end of his 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt. Stahl’s vehicle was moved from its position before police arrived. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
¯Criminal mischief — between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. — Nov. 18 — Police report investigating an incident of criminal mischief on Chestnut Street in Penns Creek. Police said the victim, Stuart Ammerman, 20, of Penns Creek, reported his truck had obscenities spray painted onto it. The investigation is ongoing.
¯Robbery — 6-9 p.m. — Nov. 18 — Police report investigating a robbery on Black Bear Drive in Center Township. Police said the victim, Harrold Walter, 89, of Middleburg, answered a knock on the door of his residence when three females entered the residence, placed a blanket over Walter’s head and stole money from his wallet.
