¯Driver safety class — Noon-4 p.m., Dec. 5 and 6, the basement of the Valley View Retirement Center Chapel, Belleville. For persons age 55 and older. Instructor: Nancy Simmons. The course will include class discussion, driver safety reminders, updates and humor. Cost of registration: $20 per person; $15 for AARP members. Bring a membership card and driver’s license. ¯“Facing the Holidays After a Loss” workshop — 10 a.m.-noon, Dec. 7, Historic Courthouse Meeting Room, 1 W. Market St., Lewistown. ¯Craft and vendor show — 8 a.m.-2 p.m., CJEMS community building, Mifflintown. Some vendors include Scentsy, Pink Zebra, Thirty-One, Perfectly Posh, Rodan and Fields, Usborne, Tupperware, Paparrazi and more, including craft vendors. Food will also be available. ¯Free community breakfast — 8:30-10 a.m., Trinity United Methodist Church, 428 S. Main St., Lewistown. Guests are asked to use the church’s rear entrance.

¯Holiday bazaar — 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., the fellowship hall of the McVeytown United Methodist Church, Queen Street, McVeytown. There will be food for sale all day, including homemade soup and baked goods. There will also be a silent auction and a Santa’s workshop for children to shop at reduced prices for family and friends.

¯2nd annual St. John’s holiday gift show — 9 a.m.-2 p.m., St. John’s Christian Daycare and Preschool, 3597 W. Main St., Belleville. Show highlights skilled craftsmen and artisans from the central Pennsylvania region who will sell handmade products. There will also be baked goods, fresh apple dumplings and hot soups for purchase. ¯Brick Saturday — 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mifflin County Library, Lewistown, and Kish Branch Library, Belleville. Kids of all ages can come and play with Legos provided by the library.
