¯DivorceCare: Surviving the holidays seminar — 6:30 p.m.,  Nov. 14, the Evangel Baptist Church, Lewistown. Seminar features practical suggestions, guidance and reassurance through video interviews with counselors, experts in divorce-related care and people who have experienced the holidays after separation or divorce. Those who attend will receive a free book with more than 30 daily readings providing additional insights and ideas on holiday survival. ¯Senior citizens holiday luncheon — free, 12:30 p.m., Nov. 17, Juniata High School cafeteria, 3931 William Penn Highway, Mifflintown. There will be musical entertainment and artwork on display, student led tours of the school and the opportunity to meet school district faculty, staff and administrators, as well as board members. ¯Food distribution — 10-11 a.m., Nov. 12, Turkey Valley United Methodist Church, state Route 235 between Maze and Seven Stars. Thanksgiving groceries will be available in addition to regular groceries only to families who call ahead to sign up for the distribution. ¯Bazaar — 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Dormantown Lutheran Church. There will be soup, baked goods and yard sale items for sale.

¯Holiday bazaar — 8-11 a.m., Reedsville Evangelical Lutheran Church. There will be craft and sale stations available and a chance to order fall decorations.

¯Clothing closet — 9 a.m.-noon, Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. Fifth St., Lewistown. Free soup and sandwiches available.

¯Shoe bank — 9 a.m.-noon, Grace United Methodist Church, Lewistown.

¯Brick Saturday — 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mifflin County Library, Lewistown, and Kish Branch Library, Belleville. Kids of all ages can come and play with Legos provided by the library.

¯Fall fest — 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wayne United Methodist Church, three miles west of McVeytown. There will be crafts, business vendors and a lunch table. Ham and bean soup will be sold by the quart. Cost: $4.

¯Turkey supper — 4-7 p.m., East Waterford Presbyterian Church. Family-style dinner. Eat-in or take-out.
