Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

¯Crash–8:02 a.m.–Oct. 17–Police report investigating a crash that occurred when Travis Tyson, 29, of Lewistown, was traveling eastbound in the left lane on U.S. 322/22 in Walker Township and moved to the right lane behind Sergi Glushak, 57, of McVeytown. Tyson failed to ensure the lane change could be made safely and subsequently rear-ended Glushak. Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. No injuries were reported.

¯Crash–5:25 a.m.–Oct. 17–Police report a crash occurring on Route 35 west of Sky Lane. Police report Justin Nussbaum, 18, of Richfield, was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus when he left the roadway and struck a house.

¯Criminal Mischief–1:15 p.m.–Oct. 15–Police report investigating an incident at a park at the intersection of Terrace Blvd. and 4th St. in the Juniata Terrace Borough. Police report that three actors described as white, high school age males arrived at the scene in a white Ford pickup truck. While on the scene the truck struck a post which was holding up a log, removing it from the ground. The three actors then fled on Terrace Blvd. toward Route 103. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Lewistown at 320-1010.

¯Criminal Mischief–Oct. 7 – Oct. 8–Police report investigating a complaint at 51 Garage Lane in Monroe Township. Michelle Cymru Spade reported sugar had been poured into her gas tank and the gas cap sealed shut with spray foam. The case remains under investigation.

¯DUI–8:38 p.m.–Oct. 3–Police report encountering a 17-year-old male, of Mount Union, during a traffic stop on Aldswords Lane east of Lucy Furnace Road in Wayne Township. The male was charged with driving under the influence.

¯DUI/Act 64–8:44 p.m.–Sept. 30–Police report Rachel Ann Lewis, 25, of Howard, was driving a 2005 Jeep Cherokee when she struck a call box on Filter Plant Road in Armagh Township and fled the scene. Lewis was later found on Hill Street in Armagh Township and was arrested for driving under the influence.
