Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

Crash – 7:30 p.m. – Sept. 26 – A crash occurred on Boyer Road, Turbett Township, Juniata County according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Marissa E. Barnham, 18, of Milroy, was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse south on Boyer Road, Turbett Township, Juniata County, when after negotiating a left hand curve, she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle traveled across the northbound lane before leaving the road. After leaving the road, the vehicle spun sideways, traveled through a yard and hit a small embankment on Hunter’s Run Road before coming to rest.

Barnham was not wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries in the crash.

She will be cited through Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline T. Leister’s office.

DUI – 10:33 p.m. – Sept. 27 – A 59-year-old Milroy man was taken to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for blood testing on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

The man was found driving around the parking lot at 20 Commerce Drive, Armagh Township. Police suspected him to be under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation continues.

Harassment – 2:16 p.m. – Sept. 26 – Police investigated a report of harassment at a residence along Rhone Road in Wayne Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

A 49-year-old McVeytown man hit a 69-year-old McVeytown woman with an extension cord during an altercation.

The man is being cited through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller’s office.

Burglary – 4 p.m., Sept. 20 – 8 a.m., Sept. 21 – Police responded to 1022 Reeds Gap Road, Armagh Township, to investigate a burglary, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Someone stole a Troy-Bilt 6250 Watt generator from a shed on the property.

Theft – Sept. 11 – Brad Kahley, 42, of Richfield, reported a 2004 Vento motor scooter stolen from a porch along Church Street, Monroe Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Theft – Sept. 13 – Alicia R. Smith, 30, of McAlisterville has been charged with theft after allegedly refusing to return a cellphone to Shawna J. Dalton, 27, of East Waterford, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Accident – 12:01 p.m. – Sept. 13 – William Harman, 74, of McVeytown, was injured during an accident, according to Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Melvin Shrock, 54, of McVeytown, was pulling out of the Class 1 transport business and was hit by Harman in the back of the 2008 Kenworth operated by Shrock. Harman suffered injuries and was taken to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for treatment.

Accident – 5:17 p.m. – Sept. 22 – No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident which occurred on U.S. 322 off-ramp at its intersection of state Route 35 in Fermanagh Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police.

Keith Jackson, 62, of Mifflintown, was traveling north on the off-ramp behind John Esterline, 71, of Williamstown, who was stopped at a stop sign when Jackson failed to stop behind him. Jackson, Esterline and his passenger Joanne Esterline, 64, of Williamstown, were all wearing seatbelts at the time.

Disorderly conduct – 2:38 p.m. – Sept. 22 – Michael Vaul, 50, of Mifflin, was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, after he unlawfully entered the residence of Ashley Lauver, 26, of Mifflin, and caused annoyance and alarm when he yelled loudly at her.

Disorderly conduct – Sept. 20 – Francis West, 31, of Lewistown, was cited for disorderly conduct after he was allegedly banging on windows of an apartment complex and also flipped over a picnic table, according to a report from the Lewistown Police Department.

Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

Burglary – 11 a.m. – Sept. 15 – A Thompsontown woman was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail following an incident at 182 Oakhurst Lane, Thompsontown, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Ashley Gray, 25, of Thompsontown, allegedly forcefully entered the residence of a 47-year-old woman, also of Thompsontown, and assaulted her.

The victim went to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Disorderly conduct- 9:32 p.m. – Sept. 16 – Paul Tower Jr., 30, of Newton Hamilton, was cited for disorderly conduct, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Tower called police and requested a trooper respond to his residence at 679 Water St., Newtown Hamilton Borough, because he wanted to speak to a trooper in reference to a former girlfriend. Upon police arrival, Tower was not home and was unable to be reached by police.

Public drunkenness – 12:01 a.m. – Sept. 21 – Edward Ray Walker, 43, of Mount Union, was found to be highly intoxicated at 20 High St., Village of Cedar Crest, Wayne Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Walker was charged with public drunkenness and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.

DUI – 1 a.m. – Sept. 21 – A man has been charged with underage consumption following an accident along U.S. 522 near Dormantown Road, Decatur Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Shane Spencer, 20, of Northumberland, was traveling north on U.S. 522 in a 2008 Ford Mustang when he fell asleep. The vehicle drifted across the road and hit a utility pole. As a result of an investigation into the crash, it was discovered that Spencer consumed an alcoholic beverage while being underage.

Harassment – 1:30-10:45 a.m. – Sept. 21 – A vulgar and harassing note was left in the mailbox of a 16-year-old female, of Mifflintown, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

The note contained vulgar material which was intended to annoy the juvenile. There were also several misspelled words, that are typically easy to spell throughout the note.

Underage consumption – 2:25 a.m. – Sept. 21 – Alayna Marie Miner, 19, of Fayetteville, was transported to the Lack-Tuscarora EMS building by friends for medical assistance because she was intoxicated, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Miner was transported to the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital where she was treated and released.

Miner is being charged with underage drinking.

Lewistown Police Department

Corruption of minors – Sept. 8 – A 50-year old Granville Township man has been arrested and charged with corrupting a minor and lewdness, according to a report from the Lewistown Police Department.

Richard Mesmer, was staying at a residence in Lewistown when an incident occurred involving a minor child under the age of 16.

Mesmer was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $30,000 bail after being arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller.

Probation violation – 12:30 a.m. – Sept. 20 – A man was arrested on a bench warrant and another for a probation violation after a traffic stop, according to a report from the Lewistown Police Department.

Police stopped the vehicle on Dorcas street and found two males inside the vehicle. The driver initially provided a false name to officers, but it was determined he was Tyler Goss-Fackender, 21, of Colorado, who was wanted on a warrant. Also in the vehicle was Jonathan Gray, 23, who was arrested on a charge of violating his probation.

Both Fackender and Gray were placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.

Fackender was also charged with providing false identification to a law enforcement officer and Gray was cited for having an open container of alcohol.

Domestic disturbance – Sept. 21 – Todd Morningstar, 47, was arrested on several outstanding failure to appear warrants following a disturbance on West Fourth Street, according to a report from the Lewistown Police Department.

Mount Union

Police Department

Accident – 7:24 a.m. – Aug. 13 – A Ford pickup truck driven by Joshua Neff, 30, of Mount Union, was hit by a Dodge driven by Oscar Smith, 83, of Mount Union, in the parking lot of an East Shirley Street business, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

There were no injuries reported in the crash and damage to both vehicles was minor.

Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

Criminal mischief – 10 p.m.-8 a.m.- Sept. 10-15 – Moses Spade, 34, of Richfield, reported having a window damaged by someone throwing ears of corn, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Hit and run – 2:15 a.m. – Sept. 12 – A man continued to drive a damaged vehicle after causing property damage during an accident, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Cole Miller, 20, of Port Royal, was traveling north on state Route 75 in a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, when he did not compensate enough for a right-hand curve in the road. Miller crossed the opposite lane of travel and hit a mailbox with the front of his vehicle, but continued to travel along the west side of state Route 75 hitting a utility pole with the driver’s side bumper of the vehicle. The vehicle again continued north hitting four fence posts, after which Miller turned his vehicle around and fled the scene traveling south on state Route 75.

Charges will be filed through Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline T. Leister’s office.

Accident – 3:06 p.m. – Sept. 15 – One person suffered minor injuries after a two vehicle accident on state Route 35 Fermanagh Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

William Lauver, 81, of McAlisteriville, was traveling north on state Route 35 and failed to stop for a red light at the intersection with Industrial Park Road, and hit a vehicle driven by Mary Hopple, 72, of Mexico, as it was making a left turn at the intersection.

Both vehicles required towing and Hopple was taken to Geisginer-Lewistown Hospital for medical treatment after hitting her head on the steering wheel.

Lauver was wearing a seatbelt. Hopple and her passenger, Wesley Hopple, 81, of Mexico were not wearing seatbelts.

Granville Township Police Department

Simple assault – Dustin Shehan, 26, of Lewistown, was arrested by police after a domestic dispute at his home, according to a report from the Granville Township Police Department.

Shehan had hit his four-year-old child and caused injury to his face.

He was taken into custody and lodged in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility. Shehan was arraigned on simple assault and harassment charges. Bail was set at $15,000.

Harassment – Erica Herbster, 27, of Granville, was cited by police after a disturbance at her home, according to a report from the Granville Township Police Department.

Herbster had hit Jessie Colyer, 31, during an argument.

A citation for harassment has been filed against Herbster.

Mount Union

Police Department

Theft- 2:45 p.m. – Aug. 10 – Police investigated a report of the theft of a wallet, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

The wallet was stolen from a vehicle at a business on East Shirley Street, Mount Union.

The suspect was described as a white male in his late 20’s to early 30’s. The suspect was wearing a blue, plaid shirt with a white undershirt and khaki colored pants.

Hit and run – 12:42 a.m. – Aug. 10 – Police investigated a hit and run crash that occurred on Kistler Road, near the Kistler Bridge, Mount Union, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

A Dodge operated by Brittany,Rodkey 19, Barnesboro, swerved to miss an oncoming car that had crossed the center yellow line and hit a cement barrier, causing damage to the Dodge.

There were no injuries reported in the crash.

Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon

Retail theft – 9:52 p.m. – Sept. 20 – Edward Ray Walker, 43, of Mount Union, was arrested at a Dollar General Store in Cromwell Township, Huntingdon County, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon.

Walker stole four cans of Monster from the store. An employee at the store witnessed the theft.

Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Mary G. Jamison’s office.

Accident – 8:43 a.m. – Sept. 18 – A deer was standing in the travel lane of U.S. 522, Brady Township, in front of Matthew Peachey, 34, of McVeytown, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon.

Peachey, driving a 1993 Chevrolet Prizm, was unable to avoid hitting the deer. The vehicle sustained damage to its hood and engine area.

DUI – 1:22 a.m. – Aug. 1 – Travis Skipper, 28, of Mount Union, has been charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

Skipper was charged following a traffic violation which occurred on South Shaver Street, Mount Union.

DUI – 12:59 a.m. – Aug. 2 – Hector Hernandez, 22, of Mount Union, has been charged with driving under the influence, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

Hernandez was charged following a traffic stop which occurred along North Davison Street, Mount Union. He was found to have been driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .125 percent.

Disorderly conduct – 2:35 a.m. – Aug. 2 – A citation of public drunkenness was filed against Colton Stapleton, 18, of Mount Union, as a result of an investigation of an intoxicated person at a North Jefferson Street business, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

Warrant service – 3:20 p.m. – Aug. 2 – A warrant of arrest was issued by the Huntingdon County Probation Department for James Maynard, 44, of Mount Union, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

Maynard was committed to the Huntingdon County Jail.

Assault – 10:15 p.m. – Aug. 2 – Charges of simple assault were filed against Joshua Clagett, 23, of Mount Union, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

Clagett was charged following a fight at the Sheetz located on North Jefferson Street, Mount Union. A summary citation for disorderly conduct was also filed against Gary Johnson, 42, of Mount Union, for his involvement in the fight.

Suspicious activity – 11:25 p.m. – Aug. 6 – One person provided a false name and fled from a West Shirley Street residence, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

William Heck 33, of Hazelton, had charges of arrest prior to requisition, flight to avoid apprehension, false identification to law enforcement, resisting arrest and loitering and prowling at night time. He was arraigned before the on-call magisterial district judge and committed to the Huntingdon County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.

Theft – Sept. 15 – An unknown individual stole the Hartman Village sign that was placed by the Huntingdon Count Housing Authority along North Division Street, according to a report from the Mount Union Police Department.

Anyone with information as to the location of the sign or the person who stole it should call police.

Simple assault – 11:40 p.m. – Sept. 5 – A woman has been placed into custody following an alleged assault according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

A 56-year-old woman, of Millerstown, was taken into custody and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility following an alleged assault of a 45-year-old woman, of Millerstown, at a residence located at 517 Dimmsville Road, Greenwood Township.

Criminal mischief – 4:30 a.m. – Sept. 7 – Lawson D. Hendricks, 45, of Mifflintown, reported having the window of his truck smashed in while at the Port Royal Speedway, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Theft by unlawful taking- Aug. 1 to Sept. 9 – Two chain saws that belonged to James Swartz, of Port Royal, were stolen from a shed, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

One Stihl 250 chain saw and one Stihl 290 chain saw were taken from a shed located at 108105 state Route 35, Spruce Hill Township, Juniata County. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 320-1010.

DUI – 2:05 p.m. – Aug. 19 – Shawn Miller, 35, of Lewistown, was charged with driving under the influence, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

During a traffic stop at the 400 Block of West Fourth St., Lewistown, Miller was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Miller was charged through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller’s office.

Crash – 5:41 p.m. – Aug. 30 – A two vehicle crash occurred on state Route 35 north in Fayette Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Paul G. Padula, 57, of Pittsburgh, was attempting to make a right turn onto Troyer Road in a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, when Joyce D. Wagner, 60, of Pittsburgh, side swiped the passenger side of his vehicle with her 2011 Chevrolet Equinox when she attempted to cut in front of him. After initial impact, both vehicles pulled off the road and faced an eastern direction. Wagner was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash. Padula, along with his passengers, Christine M. Padulla, 27, of Trafford, Lisa M. Padulla, 52, of Pittsburgh, and Rebecca S. Bruener, 53, of East Pittsburgh, were wearing their seat belts and were not injured in the crash. The crash was not DUI related. Wagner was cited in the crash through Magisterial District Judge Barbara M. Lyter’s office.

Act 64 – 4:56 p.m.. – Aug. 30- Cody Miller, 19, of Lewistown, and a 17-year-old male were charged after they were found to be in possession of paraphernalia, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Police conducted a traffic stop on Miller and the 17-year-old on U.S. 322 in Armagh Township. They both were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed on Miller through Magisterial District Judge Tammy L. Hunter’s office and charges were filed on the 17-year-old through Mifflin County Juvenile Probation.

Simple assault – 5:59 p.m. – Aug. 30 – A 48-year-old female, of Mapleton Depot, and a 60-year-old male, of Newton Hamilton, were charged after police reported a simple assault at a camp site in Wayne Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

The male was arrested and arraigned through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller’s office and the female was charged with harassment. The investigation continues.

Fleeing or attempting to elude – 12:26 p.m. – Aug. 30 – Marcus King, 19, of Ronks, was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on King on U.S 22/322, Fermanagh Township, while King was driving a motorcycle at a high rate of speed. King failed to pull over and traveled at speeds in excess of 120 mph. King came to a controlled stop on U.S 22/522 near the intersection of U.S 322. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Barbara M. Lyter’s office.

Theft – 6:22 p.m. – Sept. 1 – Lindsay Kay Kint, 27, of Loysville, reported her coolers being removed from the Port Royal Fairgrounds, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

DUI – 2:12 a.m. – Sept. 1 – A 42-year-old male, of Mifflintown, was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

The male was found to be driving a motor vehicle through a parking lot at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital. The investigation continues.

Act 64 – 9:32 a.m. – Sept. 1 – Khiem Thanh Do, 22, of State College was charged with multiple offenses after police conducted a traffic stop, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Do was pulled over on U.S 322 in Brown Township for a speeding violation. Troopers detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Troopers then conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered a vacuum-sealed bag containing one pound of marijuana inside the vehicle. Hash oil, an Adderall pill and paraphernalia was also discovered inside the vehicle. Do was arrested and transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility to be arraigned. Do was charged with possession with intent to deliver, paraphernalia and speeding through Magisterial District Judge Tammy L. Hunter’s office.

Burglary – 5 p.m., Sept. 7 – 5 p.m., Sept. 8 – Someone stole items from units at Mifflintown Storage, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Someone cut the latches to the overhead doors and removed the padlocks. Ten units were broken into and various items were taken. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 320-1010.

Theft – Sept. 6 to Sept. 9 – Police investigated an incident of theft which occurred at the Juniata County Fairgrounds, Port Royal, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

John Duvall, of McClure, had his wallet taken. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 320-1010.

Scattering rubbish – 2:55 p.m. – Sept. 9 – Damian Thomas Searer, of Lewistown, was charged with scattering rubbish, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

After being turned away from a local recycling center, Searer dumped six televisions along Dry Valley Road in Decatur Township.

Attempted suicide – Sept. 10 – Police investigated an incident of attempted suicide, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

A female was transported to J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon for treatment.

Accident – 8:58 p.m. – Aug. 28 – One person was injured after an accident along Back Maitland Road, Decatur Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Paige Sward, 24, of Lewistown, over-compensated for a left hand curve in the road and traveled into the south bound lane of travel on Back Maitland Road. Sward then tried to steer her 1997 Subaru Outback back into the northbound lane of travel but lost control of her vehicle. Sward then hit a tree with the front of her vehicle along the east side of Back Maitland Road.

This crash was DUI related and charges are being filed through Magisterial District Judge Aaron Gingrich’s office.

Harassment – 11:21 p.m. – Sept. 5 – Jason Lee Banks has been charged with harassment following a domestic dispute at 45 Poplar St., Wayne Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Harassment – 11:30 p.m. – Sept. 6 – One 16-year-old male, of Mifflintown, has been charged with harassment following a fight with a 12-year-old male, of Mifflin, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Witnesses reported the 16-year-old pushed the 12-year-old into the side of a building at the Juniata County Fairgrounds and held him against it by grabbing his neck.

Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline T. Leister’s office.

Criminal mischief – 4:30 – 10 p.m. – Sept. 7 – Kaila Rae Varner reported someone broke the rear window of her car with an unknown object while at the OIP in Walker Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

Aggravated assault – 1 p.m. – Sept. 4 – Scott Myron Troutman, 45, of Millerstown, was arrested for aggravated assault, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

The incident occurred as Troutman and a 35-year-old female, of Mifflintown, were driving down Cedar Springs Road, Walker Township, Juniata County. The argument escalated and Troutman hit the female above her right eye with a 12-inch crescent wrench. After the incident Troutman drove the female to her residence in Mifflintown.

The female was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital by ambulance to receive medical treatment. Troutman was arrested and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jackie Leister and placed in the Mifflin County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.

Granville Township Police Department

Accident – 5:12 p.m. – Sept. 6 – A 17-year-old female from Lewistown was involved in a dirt bike accident, according to a report from Granville Township Police.

The 17-year-old was operating a dirt bike on Middle Road when she lost control and hit a vehicle on the property. She was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital by Fame EMS. The nature and severity of her injuries was not reported.

Domestic dispute – Aug. 31 – Mark Carl and Bethany Sellers, both of Lewistown, were arrested after being involved in a domestic dispute, according to a report issued by Granville Township Police.

Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Tammy Hunter’s office.

Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

Retail theft – 10:30 a.m. – Sept. 6 – An unknown individual filled up a blue 4-door car at Mifflin Mart, and drove off without paying, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

The individual fled the scene and was traveling toward Mifflintown. He is described as a bigger Hispanic man with some facial hair. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 320-1010.

Harassment – 5 p.m. – Sept. 5 – A 49-year-old female reported she was elbowed in her nose by her 15-year-old son, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

The 15-year-old male is being charged with harassment.

Pennsylvania State Police Newport

Crash – 6:40 p.m. – Sept. 3 – A two-vehicle crash occurred on South Fourth Street in Newport Boro, Perry County, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Newport.

Felicity S. Williams, 12, of Newport, was traveling east on Mulberry Street on a bicycle and Tracey L. Bowersox, 41, of Millerstown, was traveling north in a 2010 Ford Focus on South Fourth Street. Williams went through a stop sign at the western side of the intersection without yielding, entered the intersection of Mulberry and South Fourth Street, and hit Bowersox’s vehicle.

Williams was not wearing a helmet and was transported to Hershey Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.

Bowersox was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash. Police were assisted at the scene by Newport EMS and Newport Fire Co.

Accident – 10:15 p.m. – Aug. 15 – A one vehicle accident occurred on Country Lane, near Parchwood Road in Oliver Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Jennifer Blessing, 42, of McVeytown, was driving faster than the speed limit in a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu LS, when traveling on a left hand curve in the road, when she lost control and traveled off the road and hit a tree stump on the passenger side. Blessing failed to contact anyone regarding the crash and her vehicle was left at the scene.

Blessing will be cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.

Theft – April 1 – Aug. 27 – Someone stole multiple guns from a residence located at 2883 Middle Road, Tuscarora Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Ronald S. Page, 47, of Honey Grove, reported the following guns stolen from his residence: a Winchester Model 94 caliber .32 special, a 20-gauge Mossburg Shotgun with a wood stock, a .22 Bolt action Marlin with a wood stock and peep sights, and a .310 Lineman reloading equipment. Robbery – 5 a.m. – Aug. 28 – Alexander S. Powell, 24, of Lewistown, was arrested and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility after an investigation into a robbery at Mountain View Trailer Park, Walker Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Harassment – 9 a.m. – Aug. 31 – Charges of harassment have been filed against Brandy Phillippe, of Mifflintown, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Phillippe allegedly went to the home of Brian Escobar-Correa, of Mifflintown, and knocked on his door aggressively. When Escobar-Correa answered that door, Phillippe accused him of hitting her vehicle and the threatened to hurt him. Phillippe then yelled derogatory statements at him.

Underage drinking – 4:45 p.m. – Sept. 4 – A 15-year-old male was found to be in possession of Jagermeister in the 7000 block of U.S. 522 South, Oliver Township, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Police were in the area investigating a 911 hang-up call. The juvenile will be cited for underage consumption.

Corruption of minors – 4 p.m. – Sept. 4 – William Russell Roberts, 48, of Lewistown, was charged with corruption of minors and furnishing alcohol to minors, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Roberts was charged following an investigation where a 14-year-old male was found to be in possession of a bottle of liquor. Roberts was identified as the person who provided the juvenile with the alcohol.

Roberts was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller and placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility pending $10,000 bail.

Suspicious activity – 4:12 p.m. – July 25 – Possible suspicious activity related to a local television provider occurred on East Vandevender Street, according to a report from Mount Union Police.

An individual told police that he was with a local television provider, and wanted to take pictures of a satellite dish located on East Vandevender Street. Police remind residents that they should call the television provider to confirm the person’s identity if there is any reason to be suspicious.

Arrest – 6:36 p.m. – July 27 – Police responded to a request for aid in locating an individual in regards to another department’s investigation, according to a report from Mount Union Police.

The Huntingdon Borough Police Department requested aid in an attempt to locate Sean Stevenson, 36, of Mount Union, in regards to an investigation. They also had an active warrant for Stevenson’s arrest.

Stevenson was located at a West Vandevender Street residence, where he jumped from a window and ran from police. Stevenson was located a short time later in a basement area of a neighbor’s home.

Stevenson was taken into custody on the warrant and then turned over to the custody of the Huntingdon Borough Police Department. Stevenson will face additional charges of flight to avoid apprehension, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a misbranded controlled substance.

Also arrested during the incident was Brian Claycomb, 38, of Huntingdon, who was found to be in possession of marijuana and was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Disorderly conduct – Aug. 28 – Charges of disorderly conduct will be filed against Travis Martin Semple Jr., 18, Mount Union, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Semple caused a verbal disturbance at 189 Silverford Heights Road, Wayne Township, causing alarm to several people, and left the scene of the incident in a vehicle .

Criminal mischief – 3 p.m. – Aug. 30 – A mailbox in Decatur Township was damaged, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Someone caused damage to a mailbox and threw rocks at a building at 295 Ertley Road, Decatur Township, belonging to Kimberly Lee Bonsall, 52, of McClure.

Harassment – 11:23 p.m. – Aug. 31 – A citation for harassment will be filed against a 14-year-old male, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Police found that a 14-year-old male harassed a 12-year-old by kicking him in the 7600 block of U.S. 522, Oliver Township.

Charges will be filed through Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller’s office.

Criminal mischief – Aug. 31, 9 p.m. – Sept. 1, 9 a.m. – A windshield was shot by a BB gun, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Timothy Adams, 42, of Mount Union, told police his windshield was shot by a BB gun while at 348 State St., Wayne Township.

Theft – Aug. 31, 10:30 p.m. – Sept. 1, 5:30 a.m. – A generator was stolen from a truck, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

Stephanie Smith, 37, of Orbisionia, reported a theft of a generator from the back of her truck along Lower Country Road, Wayne Township.

Arrest – Aug. 29 – Marquise Terry, 25, of Lewistown, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by domestic relations court, according to a report from Lewistown Borough Police.

Accident – 10:45 p.m. – Aug. 29 – An two-vehicle accident occurred on Pannebaker, according to a report from Lewistown Borough Police.

Laura Jones, 32, of Lewistown, allegedly hit a parked vehicle when she attempted to park her vehicle behind another vehicle. An argument then happened between Jones and the owner of the parked vehicle and several other residents joined in the argument. Jones did not have a valid driver’s license and was disorderly in the presence of officers. Jones was charged with driving without a license and disorderly conduct by police.

Accident – 8:30 p.m. – Aug. 30 – A one-vehicle accident occurred at the corner of West Charles and Charles streets, according to a report from Lewistown Borough Police.

A vehicle, driven by Dean Mixel, 28, of Derry Township, left the roadway and landed on the sidewalk at the corner of West Charles and Charles streets. The report read that Mixel was charged with motor vehicle violations including driving without insurance.

Assault – 3:45 p.m. – Aug. 31 – An incident of assault occurred at a Marbil Street residence, according to a report from Lewistown Borough Police.

Christopher Yeater, 46, and Codey Shawver, 25, both of Lewistown, allegedly assaulted a third man from Union Township after an argument. Yeater and Shawver were charged with assault and harassment.

Mount Union Police Department

DUI – 11:16 p.m. – July 22 – Charges of driving under the influence and related traffic offenses against Tyler Scott, 20, of Newton Hamilton have been filed according to a report from Mount Union Police.

Scott was found to be driving with a blood alcohol concentration of .227 percent.

Disorderly conduct – 12:32 a.m. – July 24 – Charges of disorderly conduct have been filed against two individuals, according to a report from Mount Union Police.

Sabrina Hardy, 18, of Mapleton Depot, and a 16-year-old boy, of Mount Union, have been charged with disorderly conduct after a report of a loud noise in the area of East Willow Street.

Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

Theft – June 28 – Aug. 15 – Charges of theft have been filed against a Mifflintown man, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

It was determined that a 33-year-old male, of Mifflintown, had taken a credit card belonging to a 28-year-old female, of Waynesboro, and used it at various businesses in the area. Charges of theft by unlawful taking and access device fraud were filed through Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline Leister’s office.

Crash- 12:09 p.m. – July 17 – According to a report police investigated a two vehicle crash at the intersection of West Shirley Street and South Division Street, Mount Union. Larry Woods, 45, of Mount Union, was driving a 1994 Chevrolet pickup traveling west on Shirley Street and failed to stop for a red traffic control signal. Woods then collided with Abby Bowersox, 24, of Mount Union, who was driving a 2002 GMC station wagon. There were no injuries reported in the crash and both vehicles were driven from the scene. Woods was cited for running a red light.

Warrant service – 9:18 p.m. – July 18 – According to a report, police initiated a traffic stop in the area of East Pennsylvania Avenue, Mount Union. During the investigation, it was determined that the passenger in the vehicle, Michael Bunch, 49, of Mount Union, had an active warrant for his arrest from Maryland. Bunch was arrested as a fugitive from justice and committed to the Huntingdon County Jail.

Public drunkenness – 5:26 p.m. – July 15 – According to a report, police investigated an incident of suspicious activity on North Jefferson Street, Mount Union. As a result of the investigation, police filed a citation for public drunkenness against Jean Marie Campo, 34, of Mount Union. Campo was transported to the hospital by EMS for evaluation.

Theft – 1:24 p.m. – July 9 – According to a report, police have filed charges of access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property against David S. Smith, 37, and Wendy J. Smith, 37, both of Mount Union, after an investigation into a report of the unauthorized use of a money access card.
