Police: 1 flown after crash

YEAGERTOWN – One man was flown to UPMC Altoona Wednesday evening due to a laceration on his arm, an injury he sustained in a crash along U.S. 322., Mifflin County Regional Police said.

Police said Jackson Hoffman, 20, fell asleep around 7:30 p.m. while driving a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban west on U.S. 322. Hoffman woke up and overcorrected the vehicle, causing it to leave the road and roll over.

A condition update on Hoffman was not available as of press time Wednesday.

Police were assisted at the scene by Yeagertown and Reedsville fire companies, City Hook and Ladder and Fame EMS.
