M.U. man charged after firing gun at another person

LEWISTOWN – A Mount Union man has been charged after he allegedly discharged a firearm at another person, according to a report issued by Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.

According to police, David R. Hollibaugh, 30, was alleged to have discharged a firearm in the direction of Mark D. Drake, 42, of Mount Union, at around 1:30 a.m. June 7 on U.S Highway 22, east of the County Line Inn, in Wayne Township.

According to the report, Hollibaugh was arraigned and incarcerated in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.

Hollibaugh is charged with aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault and one count of recklessly endangering another person.

According to the Mifflin County Correction Facility’s website, Hollibaugh was still incarcerated in lieu of a $50,000 bond, as of Sunday evening.
