Horse show to be held Saturday
LEWISTOWN – A horse show will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hilltop Riding Club, located along state Route 103 in Lewistown.
The show will be held in memory of Gina Llewellyn and proceeds will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Llewellyn lived with MS for more than a decade before passing away last year of unrelated causes. Her daughter Lynall is the organizer of the event, the first she’s put together since her mother’s passing.
“That was a cause she felt very, very strongly about,” Lynall said.
Participants can register at the event for $5 per class.
Available classes include: youth 11 and younger, juniors ages 12 to 17, seniors ages 18 and older and in open-age categories barrels, poles and keyhole, scudahoe, down and back, relay race, and dollar bareback..
There will be a 50/50 raffle and raffles for horse-related prize packages, as well as an AcuLife giveaway. A food stand will be available.
Anyone with questions can email Lynall at firstname.lastname@example.org.
