Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown

Hit and run – 5 p.m. – May 21 – Police said an unknown vehicle traveling west on Cuba Mills Road struck a vehicle operated by Jan Leister, 45, of McAlisterville, when the unknown vehicle lost control negotiating a right hand curve in the road in Fayette Township.

According to a report, the unknown vehicle hit the driver’s side mirror of Leister’s 2002 Ford Econoline. Police said the mirror was forced back into the driver’s side window of the Ford causing the mirror to break and the window to shatter.

Mount Union Police Department

Accident – 8:41 a.m. – May 12 – Police said a 2006 Pontiac, driven by Christopher Flasher, that was traveling north on South Jefferson Street, was hit by a 2004 Kia, driven by Carmen Torres. According to a report, there was minor damage to both vehicles and no injuries were reported.

Disorderly conduct – 11:31 a.m. – May 13 – Police said arguments over a parking issue were investigated at 122 W. Market St. in Mount Union. Police said the vehicle was moved and no further incidents were reported.

Accident – 8:06 a.m. – May 13 – Police said a 2002 Pontiac, driven by Marilyn Hamman, was traveling north on South Jefferson Street when it was hit by a 1989 Pontiac, driven by Clarence Minium, who was proceeding east through the stop sign on West Market Street in Mount Union. According to a report, the vehicle driven by Minium was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.

Domestic disturbance – 1 a.m.- May 13 – Police said a loud argument was investigated at 133 W. Shirely St., Mount Union. According to a report, the parties were separated and calmed down, then warned by police.

Burglary – March 2-May 26- Police said an unknown suspect entered a residence off of Valley Trail, Armagh Township, belonging Jordan Hoffman, 26, of Milroy, and stole a firearm.

Criminal mischief – 12:01-9:30 a.m. – May 24 – Police said unknown suspects damaged of a vehicle belonging to Nicholas James, 65, of Mifflintown, while it was located at 35 Dorny Lane, Mifflintown, Milford Township. According to a report, the windshield and both passenger side windows were broken with an unknown object. Anyone with information is asked call 320-1010.

Harassment – Noon, May 24-4 p.m., May 27 – Police said someone placed a dead opossum in the mailbox of Rose Hockenbrock, 59, of Mifflintown, located at the intersection of Rockland Road and Ridge Road, Fayette Township. Anyone with information is asked to call 320-1010.

Disorderly conduct – 10:50 p.m. – May 25 – Police said Rebecca Hannon, 40, of Lewistown, called 911 for no legitimate reason and then left the area of Fisherman’s Crossing, Oliver Township. According to a report, charges of disorderly conduct were filed on Hannon through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller’s office.

Accident – 12:09 a.m. – May 28 – Police said Suk Ludington, 55, of Lewistown, was traveling west on U.S. 322, in Delaware Township, in a Hyundai Elantra when he did not have time to react and hit a plastic crate that was in the middle of the travel lane with the passenger side front end. According to a report, the vehicle came to a rest on the right shoulder of the highway.

Loitering and prowling at night time – 2:14 a.m. – May 28 – Police said a 38-year-old McAlisterville man was allegedly on the back porch of a residence at 2774 Mountain Road, Fayette Township, which belongs to a 22-year-old McAlisterville woman. Anyone with information is asked to call 320-1010.

Accident – 1:14 p.m. – May 26 – Police said William Frazier, 34, of Lewistown, was traveling at a high rate of speed on U.S. 322 in Delaware Township. According to a report, while negotiating a right curve in the road, Frazier lost control of his 2004 Cadillac CTS, and began to travel off the south side of the road. Police said Frazier tried to counter-steer the vehicle and began to slide across both travel lanes while spinning clockwise. According to the report, the vehicle then slid off the north side of U.S. 322 and hit an embankment and then slid up that embankment before coming to a stop. Police said Frazier was wearing his seat belt and suffered moderate injuries as a result of the accident.

Terroristic threats – 6:20 p.m. – Thursday, May 22 – A juvenile threatened to stab a female with a knife at 60 Meadowview Drive, Centre Township, Perry County, according to a report.

Terroristic threats – 6:20 p.m. – Wednesday, May 21 – A juvenile threatened to stab his brother and mother with a serrated knife at 102 Appleton Drive, Marysville Borough, Perry County, according to a report.

Simple assault – 2:45 p.m. – Saturday, May 24 – According to police, an 18-year-old male, of Landisburg, allegedly struck a 22-year-old male, of Newport, in the face while the victim was sitting in his car. The victim then drove away to his residence. The incident took place at the intersection of Buffalo Street and S. 3rd St., Oliver Township, Perry County.

Simple assault – 9:15 p.m. – Friday, May 23 – A 13-year-old female was struck in the face during a domestic incident at U.S. Highway 322 westbound near the Watts exit, Watts Township, Perry County, according to a report.

Disorderly conduct – 11 p.m. – Friday, May 23 – Police said a 44-year-old male, of Dover, and a 41-year-old female, of Shermans Dale, engaged in a physical altercation with each other following a verbal argument at a family gathering. The incident took place at 356 Creek Road, Carroll Township, Perry County, according to a report.

Possession with intent to deliver – 2:17 p.m. – Friday, May 23 – According to police, a traffic stop was conducted on Anthony Phillip Ficarra., of Beaver Springs, for speeding. During the stop large amounts of marijuana, cash, methamphetamines, prescription pills, LSD and a hand gun were seized, according to a report. Ficarra was charged and held on $500,000 bail.

Hit and run – 12:04 p.m. – Thursday, May 22 – A 2000 Nissan Sentra, belonging to Hillary Swartz, of Newport, was legally parked on the shoulder of the northbound lane of Market Street, in front of her residence, when it was hit by a car on the rear driver side, according to a report. Her vehicle had minor damage and there were no witnesses to the crash.

Drug overdose – 2 p.m. – Friday, May 23 – A female resident, of Spring Township, Perry County, is believed to have overdosed on oral prescription medication, according to police. The victim was conscious and alert upon police arrival and was transported to Harrisburg Hospital for treatment, according to a report.

Public drunkenness – 1 p.m. – Friday, May 23 – According to police, Jeremy Leppla, 36, of Harrisburg, was found intoxicated at Riverside Antiques, 998 Susquehanna Trail, Liverpool. Leppla refused to leave the business and became combative when confronted, according to a report.

Aggravated assault – 1:30 a.m. – Thursday, May 22 – A Shermans Dale resident was assaulted by a Perry County resident at 521 S. 4th St., Oliver Township, Perry County. The victim sustained serious injury from the assault, according to a report.

DUI – 7:40 p.m. -Friday, May 16 – A traffic stop was conducted on Walter Eugene Wolfe Jr., 52, of Marysville, and he was given a series of sobriety tests before being placed under arrest for a DUI, according to a report. The incident took place at Valley Road, near Sites Circle, Rye Township, Perry County, according to the report. Charges have been filed.

Theft of a motor vehicle – 3:20 a.m. – Sunday, May 25 – According to police, Matthew Charles Huss, 28, of Newport, allegedly stole a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado pickup with an attached trailer from the 700 Block, S. 3rd St., Oliver Township, Perry County. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were left inside. The accused drove the vehicle into Newport Borough, where he then struck the attached trailer into a telephone pole, according to a report.

Theft – May 19-21 – Police said Harold Estep reported having a gun stolen from his vehicle from Barren Trail Wayne Township. According to the report, the gun is a Ruger 357 Magnum revolver. Police said the gun was entered as stolen in the National Crime Information Center.

Criminal mischief – May 20, 3 pm.- May 21, 1 p.m. – Police said unknown suspects damaged the property of Ames True Temper, Lewistown. Anyone with information should call 320-1010.

Theft – 6:30-7 p.m. – May 21 – Police said a 15-year-old male reported his bicycle stolen while at East Criswell Street and South Water Street in McVeytown. According to a report, the bicycle is a black framed DK with grey handle bars, green grips, and blue tire rims. Anyone with information is asked to call 320-1010.

Assault – 7:33 p.m.- May 6- Police said they were called to Federal Drive, Mount Union, for a report that several people were sprayed with mace. According to the report, as a result of the investigation, Jody Faircloth, 40, of Huntingdon, will face charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. Police said two people were treated for exposure to pepper spray. According to the report, police were assisted at the scene by Mount Union Ambulance.

Borough ordinance – 7:20 p.m. – May 7 – Police said they were called to a residence located at West Shirley Street, Mount Union, for a report of a child shooting a BB gun in the area. According to the report, police warned the parent that borough ordinance prohibits the discharge of any firearm in the borough, which includes BB guns.

Traffic content – 1:25 p.m. – May 7 – Police said they initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle, for failing to use a turn signal, in the area of Willow Street and South Liberty Street, Mount Union. According to the report, as a result of the investigation police filed charges against Brian Brown, 27, of Mount Union for various offenses.

Disorderly conduct – 6:47 p.m. – May 9 – Police said they were called to a report of a fight on Park Street, Mount Union. According to the report, it was determined that two juveniles were fighting with one another, and both boys were warned about their conduct.

Disorderly conduct – 6 p.m. – May 10 – Police said they were dispatched to a report of an unknown subject in another person’s home. According to the report, it was determined that the call was from outside the borough and was referred to Pennsylvania State Police. Police said a short time later, they received information that the individual was now in the area of North Division Street and East Water Street, Mount Union. According to the report, police found Benny Runk, 57, of Mount Union, highly intoxicated. Police said Runk was cited for public drunkenness and committed to the Huntingdon County Jail on a probation violation.

Theft – 7 p.m., May 19 – 7:30 a.m., May 20 – Police said someone removed copper wire from the yard of Mayes Trucking, located at 569 Leonard Road, Fayette Township, Juniata County. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 320-1010.

Attempted burglary – 11:44 a.m. – May 20 – Police said the suspects arrived at the residence of Jeannie Shank, 43, of McAlisterville, located at 236 Ehrenziller Road, Fayette Township in a vehicle described as a 1980s primer-covered, regular cab, 4×4 pickup truck. According to the report, the suspects opened a set of outside basement doors and once they realized they could not gain entry to the residence, they fled in the pickup truck. Police said the first suspect is described at a white male, 5-foot-11, weighing 165 to 170 pounds. According to the report, the second suspect is described at a white male, 5-foot-7 and weighing 165 to 170 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 320-1010.

Harassment – 4:29 p.m. – May 13 – Police said Ian Ramp, 18, of East Waterford, created a false identification on Facebook in order to make contact with Kaila Varner, 18, of Mifflintown. According to the report, Ramp had been warned in the past not to make contact with Varner. Police said charges of harassment were filed on Ramp through Magisterial District Judge Barbara M. Lyter’s office.

Theft – 12:01 a.m., May 6-noon, May 13 – Police said a 79-year-old male, of Port Royal, was involved in a mailing scam where he was told to send money in order to receive a larger sum of money. According to the report, after sending the money, he did not receive any more money.

Harassment – 8:23 p.m. – May 10 – Police said Brittany Bradshaw, 29, of Lewistown, and Nathan Ulicne, 30, of Huntingdon, were involved in an incident at a parking lot off U.S. 22 near the Mount Union Bridge in Wayne Township. According to the report, during an argument, Bradshaw threw a cigarette at Ulicne and hit Ulicne in the head area. Police said Ulicne then shoved Bradshaw in the neck area. According to the report, non-traffic citations were filed.

Retail theft – 4:51 p.m. – May 20 – Police said Robert Richardson, 22, of Lewistown, and Jeremy Taylor, 19, of Lewistown, stole merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Smithfield Township, Huntingdon County, and were caught in the parking lot. Police said charges will be filed through Magisterial District Judge Richard S. Wilt’s office.

DUI – 6:20 – 7:02 p.m. – May 9 – Police said Rachel McCaffery, 20, of Lewistown, was in a vehicle that was traveling erratically on U.S. 522, near Decatur Fire Co. in Decatur Township. According to a report, a traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and after a search it was discovered that both McCaffery and her passenger were both in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said McCaffery was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility on a probation violation and other charges will be filed. Police did not publicly identify the passenger.

Criminal mischief – 10 p.m. – May 17 – Police said unknown suspects caused damage to a vehicle owned by Haley Nichole Knepp, 18, of Lewistown, while it was located at 585 Pine Glen Road in Bratton Township. Anyone with information should call 320-1010.

DUI – 5:45 a.m. – May 18 – Police said Nicholas Supplee, 23, of Thompsontown, was driving a 1988 Dodge Dakota east on William Penn Highway, near Gill Road in Walker Township, when he veered off the right side of the road, while negotiating a left turn. According to a report, when Supplee tried to correct the vehicle before hitting the guide rails he overcompensated, causing the vehicle to spin out of control and travel across both lanes of U.S. 522. Police said the vehicle then went airborne and hit a tree on the passenger side, landing submerged in a swampy area next to the road. According to the report, Supplee and his passenger, Kailey Fike, 22, of Port Royal, were able to climb out of the vehicle and both received minor injuries from the accident. According to the report, charges of DUI are pending blood test results. Police were assisted on the scene by Port Royal Fire Department.

Public drunkenness – 8:57 p.m. – May 16 – Police said they were dispatched to the Mifflin County Youth Park. According to the report, Brian K. Floyd, 50, of Mount Joy, had been involved in a fight and was found to be intoxicated. Police said he was taken into custody and transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility where he was lodged on a charge of public drunkenness.

Check residence – 3:58 a.m. – April 28 – Police said a request was made to check on an open door at a residence located on West Water Street, Mount Union. According to the report, the door was found to be secure.

Alarm – 8:27 p.m. – April 30 – Police said they responded to a commercial burglary alarm at a business located on West Shirley Street, Mount Union. According to the report, the alarm was found to have been set off accidentally by an employee.

Harassment – 5:30 p.m. – April 30 – Police said they investigated a report of harassment on East Shirley Street, Mount Union.

Retail theft – 5:20 p.m. – April 30 – Police said a concerned parent brought a child to the Mount Union Police station after finding that the child had stolen an item from a North Jefferson Street business. According to the report, the business was contacted and the item was paid for. Police said the business did not wish to pursue charges for retail theft.

Suspicious activity – 6:18 a.m. – April 20 – Police said they were called to check on a suspicious vehicle on the EBT Railroad property west of Lafayette Street, Mount Union. According to the report, the vehicle was found to be one of the maintenance workers for the railroad.

Suspicious activity – 7:31 p.m. – April 29 – Police said they were called to Diven Park for a report of suspicious activity. According to the report, a parent was warned about children’s use of an airsoft gun in the park.

Criminal mischief – 6:48 p.m. – April 29 – Police said they were notified of an ongoing act of vandalism at Lower Municipal Park. According to the report, as a result of the investigation, police filed citations for criminal mischief against three Mount Union juvenile males, aged 13, 14 and 15. Police said one of the parents of the child later had their child sand the picnic table to repair the damages.

Suspicious activity – 11:09 p.m. – April 29 – Police said they were called to a residence on South Division Street, Mount Union, for a report of unwanted individuals in the hallway. According to the report, the building was searched and the group had left the area.

Boro ordinance (loud noise) – 6:30 p.m. – April 28 – Police said they investigated a neighbor dispute on West Market Street, Mount Union.

Crash – 3:12 p.m. – May 15 – Police said an accident occurred at the intersection of Summit Drive and Sixth Street, when Sean Wilt, was driving a vending truck out of the parking lot of The Sentinel. According to a report, Wilt stopped for the stop sign and stated he then proceeded onto Sixth Street, failing to see a vehicle driven by Kathy White. Police said White was traveling south on Sixth Street, when her vehicle was hit by Wilt’s truck. According to the report, Wilt’s vehicle sustained minor damage, and the vehicle driven by White suffered disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Police said no injuries were reported. According to the report, police were assisted by Fame EMS, Highland Park Hose Co. and Derry Township Fire Police.

Assault – 5:44 p.m. – April 26 – Police said harassment charges were filed against Dawn Matney, 33, and a 17-year-old boy, both of Mapleton Depot, and a 13-year-old girl from Mount Union, after a disturbance at Lower Municipal Park, Moore Avenue, Mount Union.

Disorderly conduct – 7:03 p.m. -April 26 – Police said charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct have been filed against Larry Spriggs, 60, of Mount Union, after a disturbance at 30 E. Shirley St., Mount Union.

Burglary – 11:55 a.m.-12:48 a.m. – May 13-14 – Police said Renae Fye, 22, of McClure, returned home to her residence at 25 Brower Road, McClure, and saw a dark-colored SUV parked up from her driveway. According to a report, an unidentified woman was standing near the SUV. Fye told police when the woman saw her, she got into the SUV and blew the horn. Police said, Fye then saw an unidentified male wearing a hoodie run from the house and get into the SUV. According to the report, the vehicle fled down Brower Road toward McClure. Police said Fye had several items taken and damage to the front door.

Disorderly conduct – 12:30 a.m. – May 14 – Police said Patrick Gagnon, 23, of Saltillo, was under the influence and was in a fight in the parking lot at the County Line Inn in Wayne Township. According to the report, charges were filed with Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller’s office for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Crash – 2:30 p.m. – May 10 – Police said a 16-year-old male, of Millerstown, was driving a 2005 Ford Ranger eastbound on state Route 17 in Greenwood Township, Perry County, and negotiated a left turn on the road. According to the report, Orlena M. Newman, 35, of Liverpool, was driving a 2012 Ford Focus westbound on state Route 17. Police said the 16-year-old male lost control of his vehicle while negotiating the left turn, causing him to veer into the oncoming lane of travel and hit Newman head-on. According to the report, the 16-year-old male was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash. Police said Newman also was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Millerstown EMS to Evangelical Community Hospital for treatment for her minor injuries. According to the report, both vehicles received disabling damage. Police said speed and wet conditions were a factor in this collision. According to the report, the 16-year-old male will be charged in the crash. Millerstown Fire/EMS assisted at the scene.

Theft – 2:30 a.m. – April 8 – Police have filed charges of theft, flight to avoid apprehension, and trespass by motor vehicle against Barry Carl Jr., 27, of Mount Union, following an investigation into suspicious activity in the area of North Franklin Street and Kistler Road. According to a report, the investigation determined that an amount of scrap metal had been stolen from the area and that Carl was responsible for the theft.

Theft – 5:05 p.m. – April 19 – Police said charges have been filed against Hector Ortiz, 27, of Huntingdon, for theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving under suspensions, after he allegedly stole a vehicle from 121 Hartman Village, Mount Union. According to a report, an arrest warrant was issued for Ortiz, who then turned himself in to police at the Mount Union Police Department on May 7. Police said Ortiz was arraigned and then committed to the Huntingdon County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

DUI – April 20 – Police said David Hollibaugh, 30, of Mount Union, was arrested for driving under the influence after a traffic stop was conducted on North Division Street and West Pine Street.

DUI – 2:39 a.m. – April 20 – Police have filed charges against Sean Ransom, 40, of Mount Union, of felony fleeing or attempting to elude police, recklessly endangering another person, driving under the influence, flight to avoid apprehension and reckless driving. According to the report, police saw an intoxicated passenger of a vehicle that had just been stopped in the area of North Division Street and West Pine Street. Police said during attempts to stop the vehicle, the driver fled from police. Police said they followed the vehicle for about eight miles when the driver came to a stop in Wayne Township, where he fled into the woods on foot. Police said a warrant for Ransom’s arrest was issued and he was taken into custody by Mount Union Police on April 28. According to the report Ransom, was arraigned and committed to the Huntingdon County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Act 64 – 6:20- 7:02 p.m. – May 9 – Police said Gabriel Specht, 23, of Reedsville, was driving a vehicle that was reported to police as being all over the roadway. According to the report, the vehicle was stopped on U.S Highway 522, near Decatur Fire House, Decatur Township, Mifflin County. Police said, after identifying the individuals inside the vehicle, it was found that Specht had a bench warrant outstanding from Mifflin County. According to the report, when Specht was asked to exit the vehicle and empty the content of his pockets, he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said Specht was placed in Mifflin County prison on the warrant and other charges were filed.

Criminal mischief – 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – May 9 – Police said someone broke the glass in the storm window of a residence located on Main Street, Mifflin Borough, Juniata County that belonged to Sandra Harris, 57, of Mifflin. According to the report, the glass was broken with a baseball.

Harassment – 3:26 p.m. – May 4 – Robert Bruce, 55, of Mifflintown, allegedly got into a physical altercation with a 19-year-old male at 1577 Cedar Springs Road, Fermanagh Township, Juniata County. According to the report, non-traffic citations were filed through district court.

Underage alcohol possession and transportation – 10:50 p.m. – May 10 – Police said a traffic stop was conducted for an equipment violation in the Taco Bell/ Snappy’s parking lot in Granville Township. According to the report, subsequent investigation indicated that Seth Isenberg, 18, of Lewistown, was transporting a thirty pack of Extra Gold Lager cans. Police said a non-traffic citation will be filed through district court.

Theft – 3 p.m., April 12 – 8 a.m., May 9 – Police said a 100 gallon propane tank was stolen from the Beale Township Fire Company pavilions on Coon Club Lane, Tuscarora Township, Juniata County. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 320-1010.

Crash – 1:02 p.m. – May 9 – Police said Martin L. Jensen, 65, of Brookhaven, was driving a 1987 Chevrolet pickup that was towing a camper, west on U.S Highway 22, 755 feet west of Locust Run Road, Walker Township, Juniata County. According to the report, for unknown reasons, the camper began to sway as it was being towed. Police said the camper then broke away from the vehicle, left the right side of the road and rolled over. According to the report, Jensen was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash. According to the report, Jensen will be charged. Thompsontown Fire Company assisted at the scene.

Crash – 4:06 p.m. – May 9 – Police said Joseph C. Storm, 35, of Beaver Springs, was driving a 2007 Ford Econoline in the left lane of U.S Highway 322 westbound in the area of the Sheetz Gas Station in Road Township, Perry County. According to the report, as Storm was driving past the Sheetz gas station a 2009 Toyota TC driven by Gabriel M. Powell, 19, of Allentown, did not yield to oncoming traffic after stopping at the stop sign at the exit of Sheetz. Police said Powell’s vehicle hit Storm’s vehicle. According to the report, Powell and his passenger, Madison M. Ritz, 19, of Allentown were both wearing seat belts and were not injured in the crash. Police said Storm was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash. According to the report, charges were filed against Powell through district court.

Theft – May 2-6 – Police said unknown suspects entered 499 Swartz Valley Road, Monroe Township, a residence belonging to a 64-year-old male, and removed a full five-gallon gas can and then removed about six gallons of gas from a generator that was located inside the shed. According to a report, the suspects then stole two gallons of gas from the victims truck which was parked beside the shed, in total about $60 was stolen. Police said the suspects then fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call 320-1010.

Harassment – 2 p.m. – May 5 – Police said a 12-year-old male, of Mifflintown, made threatening comments to a 14-year-old male, of Port Royal, while on the grounds of the Tuscarora Junior High School, Fermanagh Township. The 12-year-old was charged with harassment.

Burglary – May 4 – Police said they are investigating an act of criminal mischief at the Little League baseball field at the Reedsville Youth Park in Brown Township. According to a report, over the weekend an unknown suspect cut holes in the newly installed batting cage net, located down the right side of the field. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call MCRPD at 248-1900 ext. 639.

Domestic disturbance – 1:41 a.m. – April 1 – Police said Keith McMickens, 35, of Newton Hamilton, has charges of simple assault, theft, disorderly conduct, and harassment against him after it was determined that he caused injury to a family member and stole a cellphone.

Underage DUI – 12:41 a.m. – April 12 – Police said a large group of male juveniles was seen in a parking lot at 6 E. Specht St. in McClure when a case of beer was seen and several people fled the area. Police were able to locate Akin Hess, 19, and 16-year-old juvenile hiding nearby. Police said both were found to have consumed alcohol and were arrested for alcohol consumption while under age.

Crash- 3:15 p.m. – April 30 – Police said Curtis E. Robinson, 48, of New Bloomfield, backed a 2013 Ford F350 into a parked 2013 GMC 2500 belonging to Ralph E. Miriello, 56, of Lewistown, in the parking lot of Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, 455 Spring Rd., Toboyne Township, Perry County. According to the report, Robinson and Miriello were both wearing seat belts and were not injured in the crash.

Terrorists threats – 11:30 a.m. – April 17 – Police said a juvenile was arrested for making terroristic threats towards three 15-year-olds, two 14-year-olds, a 35-year-old, and a 47-year-old, all of Millerstown. According to the report, the incident occurred at Greenwood High School, Millerstown Borough, Perry County. Police said a juvenile petition was filed.

Crash – 5:23 p.m. – April 30 – Police said Dakota T. Ward, 18, of Millerstown, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Metro east on Fox Hollow Road, Carroll Township, Perry County, when the vehicle left its lane of travel and struck a ditch. According to the report, after striking the ditch, the car spun clockwise, hitting a tree. Police said the car came to rest next to a tree, facing west. According to the report, Ward was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash. Police said the vehicle had disabling damage to its left rear tire and had to be towed from the scene. According to the report, Ward was charged in the crash.

DUI – 8:30 p.m. – March 21 – Police said Dominick NMN Mendez, 47, of 334 S. Brown St., Lewistown, was driving a vehicle while intoxicated on U.S. 322 East in Watts Township, Perry County. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Daniel R. McGuire’s office.
