Derry Township takes care of routine business

YEAGERTOWN – The Derry Township Board of Supervisors discussed the following at a regular meeting Monday night:

Voted and approved Resolution 2014-6 to authorize the MCRPD to enter into settlement with the borough of Lewistown

Approved both a deed of dedication for a cul-de-sac on Nolan Drive and to create vacation on a portion of the same road

Plan to move forward with financing from Kish Bank to help fund renovations to the old Army Reserve Building, where the township and Mifflin County Regional Police Department offices will be housed

Voted to extend a tree removal plan for a resident on Noerr Lane to 90 days, due to plans to remove seven trees

Approved a park use application for United Fire and Rescue

The Derry Township Board of Supervisors meet at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Monday of each month at the Derry Township building.
