Milroy man arrested, charged with assault
MILROY – A Milroy man was arrested for the assault of two people at 102 McClay St., Armagh Township, on Saturday, according to a report from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown.
Police said Richard Lee Blose, 58, a 60-year-old woman, and a 44-year-old male, all of Milroy, were at a bar drinking and then all three went back to the woman’s residence, where they continued to drink. According to the report, in the early morning hours the male laid down on the couch in the living room and went to sleep. Police said Blose then became upset with the male because Blose believed that something was going on between the woman and the male. According to the report, Blose began to punch the male in the face as he was sleeping, causing the male to get a broken and bloody nose. Police said the woman stepped in to help the man, at which time Blose began to punch her in the face, causing her to also receive a possible broken nose. According to the report, Blose threw the woman on to the floor and continued to assault her while the man called police.
Upon police arrival, Blose was still on top of the woman assaulting her, according to the report. Police said Blose was arrested and charges of simple assault and harassment were filed before Magisterial District Judge Tammy L. Hunter’s office.
