Mifflin County Dairy group looking for princess candidates

LEWISTOWN – The Mifflin County Dairy Promotion Committee is seeking interested girls ages 5-24 to serve the dairy industry as representatives for the 2014-2015 year. Dairy Princess contestants need to be between 16 and 24, live in Mifflin County, and be affiliated with the dairy industry or been on the dairy court for one year.

The Dairy Princess candidate can work or live on a dairy farm, have a relative who owns a dairy farm, have a parent or herself who works on a dairy farm or dairy industry (example feed mill, dairy nutritionist or have 4-H/ FFA dairy projects). Dairy Maids are between the ages 13 to 15, Dairy Misses between 8 to 12, and Little Misses between ages 5-7. All girls must be able to promote the dairy industry through local schools, public appearances and local events.
