Mifflin County Commissioners set agenda for Jan. 23
LEWISTOWN – During a brief workshop meeting on Thursday, the Mifflin County Commissioners announced the following agenda items for their Jan. 23 business meeting:
A purchase of service agreement for use, if needed, by Children & Youth with NHS of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.
An extension of the 2012-13 service agreement with PA Treatment and Healing for use by Children & Youth.
A resolution approving the financing by the Cumberland County Municipal Authority of certain projects for the benefit of Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries.
An agreement with Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital to provide treatment services during 2014 to the inmate population of the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
An agreement with John Bauman, DDS, to provide treatment and services during 2014 to the inmate population of the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
An election services and maintenance services agreement with Election Systems and Software, LLC, for the period Jan. 1, 2014 through Dec. 31, 2016 at a cost of $11,000 a year.
2013 Liquid Fuels allocation to Oliver Township in the amount of $6,657.09.
The resignation of Nicole Crone as a caseworker in the Children & Youth department, effective Jan. 11.
The resignation of Shirley Haller as part-time confidential clerk in the commissioners’ office, effective Jan. 31.
