Red Cross aiding fire victims

LEWISTOWN – American Red Cross volunteers are assisting three adults who were displaced by a fire Monday night on U.S. 522 North in Decatur Township.

The Red Cross assisted the family with food, clothing and shelter. The organization will also follow up to determine any additional disaster needs.

The Red Cross helps people affected by disasters like floods, fires, tornadoes and hurricanes, as well as countless crises at home and around the world. Donations to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief, enables the organization to prepare for and provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance in response to disasters.
