Commissioners approve lease agreement for judge’s office
LEWISTOWN – Mifflin County Commissioners met for their regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday.
The following items were on the agenda:
Approval of minutes from Oct. 3 meeting, bills and treasurer’s report from the period of Oct. 2-15.
Purchase of service agreement for use, if needed, Children and Youth with Keystone Adolescent Center, Greenville and Center for Mental Wellness, Dover, Del., were both approved.
A five-year lease with Frank and Angela Pannizo for District Judge 58-3-01 at 100 South Main St., Reedville for $1,025 per month beginning January 2014, was approved.
A renewal agreement with Lexis Nexis, Albany, N.Y. to keep the Mifflin County Correctional Facility Law Library updated for the period of Oct. 1, 2013 through Sept. 30, 2016 for $347 per month, was approved.
Commissioners approved the 2012-2013 Human Services Plan final report.
Income and Expense reports for Juniata Valley Behaviorial and Development Services were approved.
Commissioners approved an application for county aid 2013 liquid fuels for Granville Township, in the amount of $12,725.97.
The hiring of Darcie Crock for the secretary position in the Human Services Department was approved.
Commissioners approved the promotion of Jessica Baumgardner from a Caseworker I to Caseworker II in the Children and Youth Department and they also approved the hiring of Josiah Bold for a Caseworker I position in the Children and Youth Department.
