Police: Woman dies from injuries sustained in crash

LEWISTOWN – A Burnham woman has died as a result of injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Sept. 11, according to a report issued by Pennslyvania State Police Lewistown.

According to the report, Caroline B. Wray, 60, was a passenger in a 2010 Ford F150 driven by Terry L. Wray, 65, of Burnham. The truck was traveling south on Belltown Road, near Old Stage Road in Decatur Township, around 11:49 a.m., when the truck traveled off the right side of the road and struck a large tree, police said.

The report indicates Caroline Wray was transported by Life Lion medical helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, where a nursing supervisor confirmed she died on Thursday.

Terry Wray suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported by Fame EMS to Lewistown Hospital for treatment, police said.

According to the report, both were wearing seat belts and multiple airbags deployed.

Police said Terry Wray was cited for a traffic violation in the incident.
