Police: Felon fired gun in residence, had marijuana
EAST WATERFORD – An East Waterford man who is a convicted felon fired a gun inside a Lack Township home that was occupied by two other people Friday, Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown report.
Police said 47-year-old Barry Richard Foster fired a gun from inside a residence on Pumping Station Road. The shot was heard by several people outside the residence, police said.
Upon arrival, police found Foster to be in possession of marijuana pipes and plants drying inside the residence as well as two hunting rifles, according to the report.
Police said because Foster is a convicted felon he is prohibited from possessing a firearm. No one was injured during the incident and Foster was arraigned on various felony charges.
Foster was committed to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bond.
