Police: 2 men burglarized gas station, resisted arrest

MAPLETON DEPOT – Two Mount Union men burglarized a Huntingdon County gas station and later resisted arrest Monday afternoon in Brady Township, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania State Police Huntingdon report.

Police said Neal Allen Worthy Jr., 28, and Kyle Blair Renninger, 27, burglarized the Mapleton Express gas station along U.S. 22 and stole lottery tickets.

Police said Worthy and Renninger attempted to redeem the winning tickets among the ones they had stolen.

Worthy and Renninger were later identified by police, who conducted a traffic stop after they were found traveling west on U.S. 22, police said. During the stop, Worthy attempted to flee on foot before being apprehended by police, according to the report.

Both Worthy and Renninger were arraigned on charges of burglary, resisting arrest and other related charges and were placed in the Huntingdon County Jail in lieu of bail.
