Police search for harassment suspect

LEWISTOWN – The Lewistown Police Department is looking for a suspect who allegedly harassed a female on Thursday.

Police said the suspect, described as a white male in his late 50s or 60s with gray hair thinning on top, a medium build and wearing glasses. Police said he was last seen driving a dark colored or black Lincoln, possibly an MKZ model.

Police said that a female reported to police that on Thursday, she was running on West Fourth Street at around 10:45 p.m. when a black vehicle driven by a white male began to follow her. The female said that the male had pulled into the parking lot of a business at the intersection of Juniata and Market streets and called her over to his vehicle, police said. The female walked over to the driver’s side of the vehicle and the male then grabbed her arm and asked her questions, police said. The female then pulled her arm away and left the parking lot, police said.

Police were looking through video footage to identify the make of the vehicle and a possible model. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 248-6716.
