Police: Crash injures at least 4

REEDSVILLE – One woman and at least three children were injured in a Tuesday night crash when a car hit a horse-drawn buggy in Reedsville, according to a report from Mifflin County Regional Police.

Police said Jodi Kuhns, of Reedsville, was driving east on Woodland Road around 8:05 p.m. when she was distracted by a child with a medical emergency in the back seat of her car. Kuhns’ car crossed the center line and hit a buggy driven by Dorothy Yoder, which was traveling in the opposite direction.

The report states Yoder was flown to Hershey Medical Center and her three children taken to Lewistown Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

A juvenile passenger in Kuhns car was also taken to Lewistown Hospital for treatment, according to the report.

Condition updates were not available as of press time.

MCRPD was assisted at the scene by Reedsville Fire and Rescue, Milroy Fire and EMS, Fame EMS and area fire police.
