Police searching for armed robber

THOMPSONTOWN – The Pennsylvania State Police are searching for an armed robber who forced his way into a home at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday in Delaware Township, Juniata County.

Police said the suspect was described as a white male, six feet tall, medium built with brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a camouflage ball cap, blue shirt, blue jeans and brown boots.

Police said the robber knocked on the victim’s back door and stated he had car trouble. He then asked the victim if anyone was around who could help and the victim said she was alone.

The robber then forced his way into the home and showed the victim a black handgun. The robber took a black leather Coach purse, medication and four diamond rings from residence, police said.
