Board approves new business items
MIFFLINTOWN – The Juniata County Commissioners met Tuesday in Mifflintown to take action on a number of routine business items.
During the meeting, the board:
Approved the Performance Evaluation Report for Kimberly J. McKee, county caseworker 2, submitted by Helen Henry, Children and Youth director.
Approved the Reports of Personal Transactions for Non-State Employees for Erin J. Pray and Jeffrey L. Moore, submitted by Henry.
Appointed Nancy Searer to the position of Juniata County public defender, pending final execution of a contract.
Approved the 2013-2014 County Intermediate Punishment Funds grant application, submitted by Michelle A. Beaver, chief probation officer.
Ratified Juniata County hazardous materials check No. 1,153 in the amount of $223.15 to Quill for office supplies.
Approved checks Nos. 37,237 to 37,267 in the amount of $104,001.97.
