Board accepts bid for paving of roads
YEAGERTOWN – The Derry Township Board of Supervisors accepted a bid of $45,835.50 by Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. for the Bargo Lane and Old Park Road paving project at its Monday meeting.
The board voted to direct Solicitor Jeff Snook to investigate the Employee Pension Plan Agreement. The current agreement allows employees to put up to 10 percent of their wages into their pensions. The board said it wants Snook to see if the maximum amount employees may contribute can be increased.
The board voted to participate with a Fun Pass with the Central Pa. Convention and Visitors Bureau and put a discount for mini golf at Kish Park on the pass.
The Derry Township Board of Supervisors meets at 5:30 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of each month at its building in Yeagertown.
