Casner seeks a seat

MIFFLINTOWN – Marian Casner has announced her intention to seek the Republican nomination for Fermanagh Township Supervisor for a two-year term.

Casner has been at the township since March 1999 where she served as part-time secretary until 2005. She has been a full-time secretary ever since as well as being the zoning and permit officer.

Casner was appointed as interim supervisor in September 2012 to fill the position vacated after the death of Stanley Worrall.

Casner said she has a very good working knowledge of the township as well as zoning and subdivision laws.

The primary election is May 21.
