“I worked in banking for six years, was the secretary for a state representative from Philadelphia for four years, was the tax collector for Milford Township for 16 years, and was the office manager for Two Sisters for eight years,” King Said.
“I have played a vital part in implementing a new and efficient accounting system throughout the county offices. My years of experience as well as my desire to work hard to make things better for the employees and the residents of Juniata County are just a few of the reasons why I should be re-elected as treasurer for Juniata County,” she added.
King said she has two employees, deputies Jan Hutchinson and Becky Zeiders, who have been with her since 2006.
“They are very dependable and do wonderful jobs at helping me maintain an efficient office. If re-elected, I plan to continue as in the past at updating the record keeping and providing a friendly and helpful service to the residents of Juniata County,” King said.
