Tradition states that if you eat goose on September 29, you’ll never want for money all the year round. Who wouldn’t want that?

The Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau called every restaurant in Mifflin and Juniata counties to see who’s serving the lucky bird on Sept. 29 and not only found goose, but several other delicious things, as well.

FYI –You might be surprised by how popular goose dinners are on Sept. 29. We strongly suggest that you call ahead if you plan to dine later in the day.
