Service behind the sale
Aumiller and Associates’ new owner committed to helping clients
MILROY — Aumiller and Associates’ new owner/manager Ralph Peiper and his staff are committed to helping take the guesswork out of retirement.
“We specialize in the senior benefits market,” Peiper said. “We’ll help any senior or anybody on Medicare with health insurance, life insurance, end-of-life care, estate planning, secure investments and safe investments.”
Aumiller’s representatives will conduct a no-cost, confidential analysis of the customer’s individual needs to find the best solution based on the customer’s needs and objectives.
Peiper said he tries to impose on all of his agents to do what’s best for the client, find out what their wishes are and see that their last wishes will be granted.
“We want to help our clients and do what’s right for them,” Peiper said. “We put our emphasis on our clients so clients will stay with us.”
As a young man, Peiper said he worked for his grandfather who owned a business and he watched him take care of his customers.
“If you take care of them, they will take care of you,” Peiper said. “He was a shining example of that.”
Peiper entered the insurance business in 1985 to have the opportunity to do good things for good people.
“I can impact their lives immediately,” he said. “I can show them how to save and the level of aggravation in their faces goes away and it’s not unusual for a hug at the end of a meeting.”
With his and his agents’ years of experience, they can do the thinking for the clients who may not be familiar with the laws and benefits of all the plans.
“Ninety-five percent of people we meet don’t know what their current coverage is,” Peiper said. “We can help them take advantage of state and federal programs.”
To ensure agents are providing the best possible service, agents undergo ongoing training to stay up-to-date on government and state programs which continually change. Aumiller’s also helps preserve the hard earned money clients have worked for all their life.
“They cannot afford to lost that money,” Peiper said. “It’s important we put their money into a plan that works for them the rest of their life.”
Peiper, who has been working for Aumiller’s for seven years, said he loves his job and brought his daughter, Madilyn Peiper-Etter along because she enjoys the same uplifting feeling he gets when helping a client. He also pointed out there are a lot of good people working in the company and he wants it to be successful and grow.
“Everything I’ve done in life has led me to this position,” he said. “I really love this job, the people and the clients. They trust us. You can’t buy that, it has to be earned and keeping it is very important.”
Under Peiper’s ownership, the business has “beefed up” its client services department to provide service behind the sale.
“We never want clients or their children to have to call insurance companies,” he said. “They should be relieved of this burden. We want them to make us their phone call instead about any concern on any topic.”
Located at 6223 Old U.S. Highway 322 in Milroy, the business serves the state of Pennsylvania.
