The Kops4Kids golf tournament will be held on May 25 at Lewistown Country Club to raise money for the program that gives local law enforcement an opportunity to work with local youth to encourage discipline and instruction through the Kadet Kamp and other programs. For the first participant who gets a hole-in-one at the tournament, he/she will win a 2017 Dodge Challenger RT, sponsored by Frey Motors of Lewistown. Pictured are, from left, Ed Arnold, Frey Motors; Officer Chad Brehman, president of Kops4Kids, Granville Township Police Department; Patrolman Bruce Mann, treasurer of Kops4Kids, Lewistown Police Department; and Det. Jess Aurand, vice president of Kops4Kids, Mifflin County Regional Police Department. To register a team for the tournament, contact Brehman at 953-9713. The cost is $300 per team. So far 15 teams are signed up. Proceeds from this event will go toward next summer’s camp and some one-day events this summer.
