Sports medicine doc joins J.C. Blair team
HUNTINGDON – Sports medicine physician Gregor Thebaud has joined the medical staff of J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital.
Along with his family practice certification, Thebaud can treat a variety of patients including athletes of all ages, those hoping to improve their athletic performance and patients with disabilities caused by injury who hope to regain mobility and increase their capabilities.
Thebaud earned his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie and completed his residency and fellowship at PinnacleHealth System in Harrisburg. He served as the physician for game coverage, performed sports physicals and provided injury consultation for high school, college and professional sports teams during his time at PinnacleHealth.

Walters now partner at Pa. elevator firm
DOVER, Pa. – James D. Walters Jr. has joined the elevator inspection and consulting firm of Ron Farley Inc. as a partner. Walters has a degree in mechanical engineering and more than eight years of experience inspecting elevators. A resident of Juniata County, he has a quality elevator inspector’s license from the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities International and an elevator inspector’s license from the Pennsylvania Elevator Division of the Department of Labor and Industry.
Strohecker promoted to Kish assistant VP
REEDSVILLE – Kish Bank has announced the appointment of Wendy Strohecker, deposit operations manager for Kish Bank, has been promoted to assistant vice president.
Strohecker began her career with Kish in December 2004 as the assistant branch manager at the Electric Avenue location and subsequently moved into the role of branch manager in Reedsville. Strohecker later transitioned from client-facing support to branch support, accepting a promotion as the branch service support assistant manager in 2006 and then moving into her current role as deposit operations manager.
She lives in Reedsville with her husband and two daughters.
