Four directors named to board

STATE COLLEGE – William P. Hayes, chairman and CEO of Kish Bank and Kish Bancorp, has announced the election of three directors to the Board of Kish Bancorp for three-year terms and one director for a one-year term. Continuing standing members of the Kish Bancorp Board are: William S. Lake, owner of Lake Ford Lincoln and Lake Chevrolet in Lewistown; James J. Lakso, immediate past provost at Juniata College; Phyllis L. Palm, retired vice president of operations at Lewistown Hospital; Spyros A. Degleris, private investor in State College; and William P. Hayes.

William L. Dancy

Dancy has been a Kish Bancorp director since 2002. He is the president and owner of J.M. Young and Sons, a construction and roofing contractor in Belleville. Dancy attended Northern Virginia Community College, Columbia Technical Institute and Penn State. He lives in Belleville.

Paul G. Howes

Howes has been a director of Kish Bank and Kish Bancorp for one year and stood for election for his first full term as a Bancorp director this year. A senior executive in the life sciences industry, Howes recently served as president and CEO of Inotek Corporation. He was previously president of the Americas Region of Bausch & Lomb after serving in various senior executive capacities for 16 years at Merck and Co. Howes is a graduate of Harvard College and earned his master’s degree in business from York University in Toronto. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and currently serves on the board of Prevent Blindness America. He resides in State College with his wife Teri.

J. Bradley Scovill

Scovill joined Kish Bank in 2009 and was promoted to president and COO of the bank and holding company in 2013. Before joining Kish, he was a senior executive vice president with Sterling Financial in Lancaster. Previously, he was president and CEO of the Bank of Hanover. A graduate of Penn State University, Scovill serves on the boards of the CBICC and the State Theatre. He lives in State College with his wife Joanne.

Edward A. Friedman

Friedman, founder of Friedman Real Estate Group in State College, has been appointed to a one-year term as a director of Kish Bancorp and Kish Bank. Friedman will stand for election to the Bancorp Board at the next regular shareholders meeting in May 2015.
