Lunch & Learn to focus on ‘the cloud’
LEWISTOWN – Cloud technology will be the topic of the next Lunch & Learn Series presentation at Pennsylvania CareerLink Mifflin County.

JVEAC to present
LEWISTOWN – The Juniata Valley Employer Advisory Council will hold a “Choosing accountability” seminar featuring business coach and author Leta Beam. The seminar will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on May 20 at PA CareerLink Mifflin County.
Beam will speak on what accountability means, the importance of holding oneself and one’s team to the highest standard of responsibility and how to engage staff.

Chamber to hold networking event
LEWISTOWN – The Juniata River Valley Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce will hold Business Expo After Hours 2014 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on May 21, at Brookmere Winery and Vineyard Inn in Belleville.
Admission to the networking event is $5 and includes food, beverages and live music.
Local businesses are invited to register as exhibitors for the expo at a cost of $150. The fee includes a 10-by-10-foot space with two chairs, marketing of the event and food. Exhibitors are expected to provide their own tables, a door prize and a professional display. Set up is from 3 to 5 p.m. and tear-down is at 7:30 p.m.
