Amy Susan Thul, of Ranshaw, and Christopher Matthew Sigler, of Bellefonte, were married on Aug. 3, 2013, at Higbee’s Beach, Cape May, N.J.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Janet Thul, Ranshaw. The groom is the son of Michael and Karen Sigler, Mifflintown.

Alexus Rapp, friend of the bride, was matron of honor.

The best men were Michael Sigler and Jon Sigler, brothers of the groom.

Bridesmaids were Lynn Kaskie, Jackie Collier and Elisabeth Foley.

Ushers were Alex Chalier, Brent Wiend, Will Berkheiser, Chris Carleton and Tyler Derr.

Rev. Michael Sigler, father of the groom, performed the ceremony that also included: Colin Sigler, nephew of the groom, as a page; and Sam Thul, brother of the bride, who provided acoustic music at the beach ceremony.

A reception followed at the Cape May Lewes-Ferry Terminal, Cape May, N.J.

The bride graduated from Susquehanna University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree, and from Bloomsburg University in 2009, with a master’s degree.

The groom is a 2005 and 2006 graduate of Bloomsburg University, where he earned bachelor’s and masters’ degrees.

The bride and groom are both employed by Penn State University, University Park campus, and are doctoral candidates in the College of Education.

Following a wedding trip to Oahu, Hawaii., they live in State College.
