Rita W. Montgomery, of East Kalimantan, Indonesia, and Douglas F. Imes, of Honey Grove, were married on Oct. 20, 2012, at A New Beginning Community Church, Spruce Hill, Juniata County.

The bride is the daughter of Abdul and Idala Wahid, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. The groom is the son of Floyd and Alice Imes, of Mifflintown.

Penny Imes was the matron of honor.

The best man was David Taylor.

Bridesmaids were: Carmella and Rebecca Leoni, nieces of the groom; Heather Imes, niece of the groom; and Jacqui Smith.

Groomsmen were: Scott Imes, cousin of the groom; Dustin Bassler; Adam Imes, nephew of the groom; and Kent Smith.

The flower girl was Adrianna Imes, daughter of Cory Imes.

The ring bearer was Blaine Imes, son of Greg and Jessica Imes.

Minister Frank Swartz performed the ceremony that also included: Steven J. Imes, cousin of the groom, who escorted the bride in honor of her father; lighting of the bride and groom’s candles performed by Alice Imes, mother of groom, and Pamela Imes, in honor of the bride’s mother; bulletin attendant Amanda Bassler; music coordinator Jeremy Leach; and wedding coordinator Lynnetta Armstrong.

A reception followed at Tuscarora Valley Heritage Grounds, East Waterford.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Honey Grove.
