Cara Shellenberger and James Shirk, both of Mifflintown, were married on May 18, 2013, at Bunkertown Church of the Brethren.
The bride is the daughter of Cathy and Doug Shellenberger, of Mifflintown. The groom is the son of Jane and John Shirk, of Mifflintown.
Marissa Smith, of Harrisburg, was the matron of honor.
The best man was Nathaniel Hohol, of Mifflintown.
Bridesmaids were Tiffany Hops, of Mifflintown, and Christine Hoffman, of Danville.
Groomsmen were Nick Spece, of Thompsontown, and Matt Miller, of Mifflintown.
The Rev. Greg Jones performed the ceremony.
A reception followed at Central Juniata EMS.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of East Juniata High School and a 2008 graduate of Bloomsburg University. She is employed as a microbiologist at the Department of Agriculture, Harrisburg.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Juniata High School and a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College. He is employed as an auto mechanic at Leidy’s in Mifflintown.
They live in Mifflintown.
