Fousts celebrate 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Foust

Bob and Helen (Donahey) Foust, of McVeytown, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

They were married at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church on Dec. 13, 1958, by the Rev. Oren Williams. They have been members of Wesley Chapel for more than 60 years.

To celebrate their special anniversary, they enjoyed a surprise 60th anniversary party with family and close friends on Dec. 8. The party was served buffet style at Wingman’s Brew-n-Que.

They are parents of Rex Foust, and wife, Lori, Lewistown; D’Ann Mowery, and husband, Mark, Yeagertown; and grandparents of Jill Foust, Lebanon, and Alex Mowery, Yeagertown.

Bob retired as safety director from Empire Kosher, and is a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He is also a founding member of the McVeytown Ambulance Club.

Helen retired from Marlette Homes with 39 years of service.

Helen and Bob are known for their generosity and willingness to put the needs of others above their own. Helen has served as the outreach and witness committee chairperson for the last 13 years at Wesley Chapel Church.

They attribute the success of their marriage to love, friendship and trust in God.
