Wrays celebrate 50th anniversary
Joan A. Wray (Cooper) and Norman W. Wray Jr., of McVeytown, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on Nov. 19, 1968. Their special 50th wedding anniversary was celebrated with a surprise luncheon at Fulton’s Steamboat in Lancaster, hosted by their children and families.
They are the parents of two sons, Norman W. Wray III, and his wife, Virginia, of McClure, and Kenneth S. Wray, and his wife, Jennifer, of Glen Mills.
They have four granddaughters: Veronica (Brice), Valerie, Sophia and Maria.
Norman served in the U.S. Navy and is retired from Bell Telephone (AT&T).
Joan is a retired church secretary.
They are members of Calvary Bible Church.
