Millses celebrate 60th anniversary
Donald and Bonnie (Locke) Mills celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2018. They were married on June 4, 1958, in Hagerstown, Maryland.
After beginning married life in Shade Gap, they moved to Strodes Mills in 1965 when Donald began working for Standard Steel. They still live in Strodes Mills, in the same house Donald built from a Claster’s kit home.
They have three children: Kari (Steve) Swigart, of Reedsville; Traci (John) Kreider, of McClure; and Mike (Christine) Mills. of McVeytown.
They have seven grandchildren, Katelin Kramm, Daniel and Nathan Swigart, Matthew and Jared Kreider, and Micaela and Blaine Mills.
They also have five great-grandchildren, Owen, Lucas, Matthew, Wesley and Abigail.
Donald retired from Standard. Bonnie retired from the Bon-Ton.
