Strawsers celebrate 60th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald D. Strawser recently celebrated their 60th anniversary at home.
They were married at 6:30 p.m. on June 28, 1957, at the Port Royal Methodist Church by Rev. Fred Hickcock.
She is the former Carolyn B. Fultz, daughter of the late George and Kathryn Fultz, of Port Royal. She attended Tuscarora Valley High School. She retired from Selinsgrove Center as a CN in 2001, and did home care nursing until 2015.
He is the son of the late Clair and Mabel Strawser, of Cocolamus. He attended East Juniata High School, and retired from SuperValu in 2001. He was a self-employed painter, working on his own. He retired in 2012 from Perry West Perry Elementary School as a custodian.
They are the parents of two daughters, Teresa Wickham, wife of David, of Hanover; and Rhonda Barnham, wife of David, of McAlisterville; two granddaughters, Kayla, wife of Chad, of Mifflintown, and Shellie Barnham and Caleb Bilheimer, of Milroy; two great-grandsons, Isaac and Clyde Bilheimer; and one great-granddaughter, Alexandra Cleck.
The Strawsers attend Richfield United Church of Christ, Richfield.
