Cramers celebrate 65th anniversary

J. Richard and Dorrie (Baker) Cramer, of Belleville, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

They were married on July 3, 1948, in New Bloomfield by Rev. Rose.

They are the parents of four daughters: Kathy and husband, Ray, Dodson, of Long Neck, Del.; Debbie and husband, Jack, Horner, of Columbia, Pa.; Pam and husband, Allan, Bright, of Spruce Creek; and Sue and husband, Brian, Wakeman, of Midlothian, Va.

They have seven grandchildren: Elizabeth Dodson Shaffer, of Palo Alto, Calif.; Kelly Horner Hitch, of Fort Polk, La.; Craig Horner, of Lancaster; Hillary and Ashley Bright, of Pittsburgh; Conor Wakeman, of Dallas, Texas; and Gareth Wakeman, of Midlothian, Va.

They also have three great-grandchildren, Addison and Liam Horner, and Blaine Wakeman.

He is a retired insurance agent. They are Methodists by faith.

They attribute the success of their marriage to “loving people and each other.”
